The pad (10) has an inner layer (20) made from a liquid-absorbing material and turned toward a mammary gland i.e. female breast. A resilient liquid-tight outer layer (30) is turned away from the mammary gland. The inner layer comprises circulating sealing edges (40) running on a surface of the inner layer. The surface of the inner layer is in not contact with the outer layer. The sealing edges are made of adhering material. The outer layer contacts the sealing edges. The inner layer is soaked with liquid, which contains caring and/or pharmaceutical active ingredients.
