The heat exchanger (10) has tubular, flattened housing (4) whose inner space is partitioned into a pair of two inner space regions (1,2) by partition walls (21). A heat transfer surface (3) is formed at one of flattened surfaces of the housing for attachment of a thermoelectric generator, above inner space region (1). The thermal resistance of thermal contact of housing at the inner space region (2) with the heat transfer surface is greater than that of the thermal contact of housing at the inner space region (1).
