The UV-protector is designed as an UV impervious film which is arranged in the form of several pre-punched UV film pieces. The UV film pieces are arranged on a carrier board, such that the UV film pieces can be easily removed from the carrier board and affixed to a natural and/or artificial finger and/or toenail. The UV impervious film and the adhesive adhered to the film pieces are water-resistant. The UV impervious film is designed in various tints to match the clothing and makeup color and has a thickness of 0.03-0.08 mm.
