The apparatus (1) has pressure segments with print head, which are provided in treatment position of drivable transport and handling elements (7,7b), to form a fully functional unit. The circumferentially drivable rotor (12) or rotor-like machine element is arranged around the machine axis of the pressure segments. The pressure segments at the rotor are interchanged, and the holding and centering unit is provided for holding the packaging material (2).
