The part (1) has a decoration element (4) attached at a carrier element (3). The decoration element is formed as a film (4a) printed on an upper side (6) and a lower side (7) with different patterns i.e. lattices. The film is covered with a transparent plastic layer (5), where thickness of the transparent plastic layer is larger than thickness of the film. The film consists of polymethyl methacrylate and exhibits thickness of approximately 0.8-1.2 mm. The plastic layer exhibits thickness of 3-5 mm. An illumination device (8) is integrated into the carrier element. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a lining part.
