The adjustable chair (1) has a heat radiator for cabin, sauna or the living area, with an associated backrest (3) and subsequent foot holder (11) in the front of the seat surface (9). An infrared emitter (2) is attached on the back (7) of the backrest or to an immediately underlying wall of the cabin. The middle portion of backrest has a recess for the free passage of radiation of the infrared radiator, and by which the inclination of the backrest is adjustable and fixable.
