The device has a rope (1) pulled up and down in a direction to drive a bicycle. The rope is pulled by 10 to 50 deflection rollers (13, 24), so that driving force is reduced to almost zero. A power pulley block is installed in the device. Diameter of a lever arm (16) of the device is in a range of 16-36 cms. The rope is pulled upto 25-36 cms upward and 36 cms downward. The upward and downward movement of the cable is converted into power by a generator (4), where the deflection rollers are driven by the power.
