The unit (50) has a coating (12), a yellow colored film, a thin lens and a Fresnel lens influencing an optical path of blue light portions of a spectrum such that less amount of the blue light portions continuously emerges from the coating, the film and the lenses in a region adjacent to an optical axis (OA) than in a region far from the optical axis. The coating is applied on an intraocular lens (10). Thickness of the coating is increased in the region of the optical axis and reduced at edge of the intraocular lens. The coating is made of yellow colored acrylate or methacrylate.
