The container (1) has a valve (2) comprising a safety device (4) with a thermal trigger unit, and a remote trigger device (13) connected with the safety device for alternative actuation of the trigger unit. The remote trigger device comprises a Bowden cable (12), which is held in a position under pre-tension of a burst body (11). Bursting of the burst body triggers motion of the Bowden cable, which is directly actuated by the trigger unit. The Bowden cable is made of a temperature-resistant material and pre-tensioned by a spring element against the burst body.
