The vehicle (1) has a vehicle tunnel (4) i.e. frame tunnel, forming a downward open hollow section on the vehicle when seen in a cross-section. An electrical storage element (5) is arranged in the open hollow section. An exhaust system (6) is arranged below the storage element in the vehicle tunnel or directly and partially below the storage element. The storage element and the exhaust system are separated from each other by a heat screening plate (8). The storage element is detachably fixed on a support plate (9) and arranged within the vehicle tunnel by the support plate. The support plate is designed as a cooling plate or a heat exchanger. The electrical storage element is designed as a lithium ion battery. The exhaust system is designed as an exhaust tube.
