The electromotor (2) has brush devices (4) whose brush is electrically connected with a choke coil (8). The coil is directly formed by a part of a one-piece connection conductor (7) that is connected with the brush. The connection conductor is provided with a cladding-side isolation part. The brush comprises a brush body (6) and a contact surface for sliding contact with a commutator (3). An end of the brush body opposite to the contact surface is held in a receiving frame (5) of a brush holder. The brush holder comprises winding carriers (9) connected with the frame for winding the coil. The connection conductor is designed as a strand and one-piece copper wire, aluminum wire or silver wire. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a brush device.
