The system (10) has flight control devices for performing signal transmissions via a digital data bus (12) i.e. triple-redundant bidirectional bus. Pilot input elements (14) are provided with active data concentrators to communicate with one another and/or with other participants of a networked computer system over the data bus. The number of participants of the networked computer system is expandable. Integrated electronic components (REU1, RWU2) are adapted for connection of the flight control devices to the digital data bus.
