The device has a rotatable multi functional console (10) comprising two different functional units (11, 12) that are bringable into a function position by displacement of the multi functional console. The functional units are arranged in two regions (13, 14) of the multi functional console, where the regions are spatially separated from each other. The regions are partially formed as a visible surface. The regions individually rotate the functional units in a viewing area by the displacement of the multi functional console. The functional units are selected from a fog headlight, daytime running light, a diaphragm, a side marker and/or a receiving device for an external system.
