The system (2) has two crankshafts (3, 4) located upright in a piston machine i.e. diesel direct injection internal combustion engine (1), and staying in an operative connection with a piston by interposition of two connecting rods. The crankshafts rotate in opposite directions by shifting synchronization gear wheels that are in intervention with one another. The crankshafts are provided with flywheels adjacent to upper ends. The crankshafts are formed with lower ends (24, 25) for influencing drive units (16, 26) of the piston machine with high power consumption.
