The module has multiple storage cells arranged in a housing (1) and combined into a cell module. The housing is partially made of a metal pressure casting material i.e. aluminum pressure casting material, with breaking strain of about 10-14 percent. The module comprises attachment elements (2) that are integrated into the housing in a form of holes. The cell module is inserted into the housing. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an energy storage module for a power supply device in a motor car.
