Decorative fabric (1) comprises at least one flat wire mesh (2), which provides an at least partially visible decorative surface (4), at least partially back-molded plastic layer, and at least one three-dimensional embossing structure (8) on the decorative surface of the flat wire mesh. An independent claim is also included for producing the decorative fabric, comprising using the flat wire mesh, which provides at least partially visible decorative surface, back-molding the wire mesh with at least one plastic layer, and introducing at least one three-dimensional embossing structure on the decorative surface of the flat wire mesh.
