The device has a retainer (2) for retaining a handle and arranged in a longitudinal- and transverse central lengthwise direction and assigning a U- and/or V-shaped profile (3) as a mounting bracket. A resilient wiper blade (8) provided at the profile and with cleaning lips (9, 10) over the mounting bracket. The cleaning lips or the wiper blade are connected with each other in a V-shape and provided related to a longitudinal center axis of the mounting bracket in different widths (11, 12). The cleaning lips are formed by free ends of a material strip, and the wiper blade is made of soft PVC.
