The hayrack comprises a fodder container opened on one side and a lattice door (22), which limits inner chamber of the fodder container on the open side fodder container in a primary position, which lies behind the lattice door. The lattice door is swivelable such that an edge of the lattice door is swiveled between the primary and the secondary position of the lattice door while swiveling along the contour of the wall (10,12,14) of the fodder container. A locking mechanism is provided to prevent swiveling out of the lattice door of the fodder container in the unactuated state.
