The present invention relates to compositions containing(A) one or more surfactants of the formula (i) whereinR is a linear or branched, saturated c₈-C.₂₂ Alkyl group or a linear or branched a - or polyunsaturated c₈-C.₂₂ Alkenyl group, andX is h, na, k or ammonium, and(B) one or more betaine surfactant correspond.The compositions are suitable in an advantageous manner for use in cosmetics, as well as in washing - and cleaning products and lead to a rapid foaming and an advantageous total foam height.
