The brake disk has a connector connected with a friction ring (10) by molding the connector on a mating surface (18) of the friction ring, where the connector is designed as a brake disk chamber, a wheel flange or a wheel hub. The mating surface is provided with a coating by a thermal spraying method. The friction ring and the connector are positively connected and firmly bonded with each other in a circumferential direction through the coating. Layer thickness of the coating is in a range of 200 to 700 micrometers. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a brake disk.
