The fuse element has fuse receiving shafts (2) arranged one behind another in a longitudinal direction of a base support (1), where each fuse receiving shaft includes an electrically conductive contact (3). Connecting elements (6) are arranged on a front side (5) of the base support and electrically connected via respective conductor tracks (4) with the conductive contacts. An expansion module (8) is arranged in a longitudinal side (7) of the base support, where the module includes a longitudinal shaft (9) for guiding the tracks between the conductive contacts and the connecting elements.
