The probe (1) has a liquid-sensitive component (5) arranged in a borehole (2). A sealing agent outlet (6) is provided for discharging a sealing agent (7) into surroundings of the component and/or the probe. A sealing agent container (8) is carryable with the probe, where the sealing agent is drawn off from the container over the sealing agent outlet formed at the container. A sealing agent pipe (9) is carryable with the probe in the borehole and has one end section formed at the sealing agent outlet and another end section is connectable or attached at the container. An independent claim is also included for a method for protecting a liquid-sensitive component of a geophysical and/or geo-technical borehole probe.
