The clutch has an external teethed part and an internal teethed part displaceable relative to each other in axial direction. Internal and external gears stand in engagement with each other. One of the external and internal teethed parts comprises a groove (7) in which a spring element is arranged. The spring element is frictionally engaged to a gearing region portion of other of the external and internal teethed parts, where the frictional engagement is formed by frictional engagement portions that are spaced in circumferential direction. The parts are designed as a driver of the brake and a cover of the brake. An independent claim is also included for a brake.
