The profile (10) has two profile parts (20, 30) connected with a first plate-shaped element (11) i.e. glass pane, and a second plate-shaped element (12) i.e. absorber plate (13). The profile parts are partially joined with each other along a joining direction (40). A sealing element (42) is arranged in a joining region (41) between the profile parts. Cross-sections of the profile parts are partially formed in a trapezoidal shape in the joining region. A cavity of one of the profile parts is filled with a drying agent (31) such as calcium chloride, magnesium sulfate, sodium sulfate or silica. The first plate-shaped element is made from glass, and the second plate-shaped element is made from glass or metal. The sealing element is made from butyl rubber. An independent claim is also included for a solar heat collector.
