The electrode (10) has an electrode body (12) made of an electrically conductive material. A surface of the electrode body is partially provided with an electrically insulating component (18) so that non-insulated, exposed and electrically conductive structures (14c, 16c) of the electrode body remains on the surface. The electrode body includes two electrically conductive components (14, 16), where an electrically insulating component is arranged between the components. The components are made of copper-bronze alloy. An electrolyte is filled in a space between the body and a workpiece. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for manufacturing an electrode (2) an electrochemical abrasion process.
