The carport (1) has a solar module (5) fastened on a roof construction (4), and a stretchable element (8) forming a lower end of the roof construction, where the carport is provided with an open front side (V). The stretchable element is formed as a film, a tarpaulin, a fabric web, a net and/or knitted fabric in a flexible and/or weatherproof manner. The roof construction comprises a stiffener element arranged at a carrier (3) such that the solar module is fastened on the stiffener element. A seal element is attached on the stiffener element and consists of a resilient material.
