The fan arrangement has an axial fan arranged on a shaft (3), particularly on a drive shaft of the gearbox. The axial fan has blades (4), particularly fan blades. The blades are adjustable by an adjusting device such that the airflow generated by the axial fan is directed in the axial direction. The blades are rotatable in limiting manner around a radially aligned pivot axis by the adjusting device. A hub (8) is rotationally connected with the shaft, in which a blade holder (6) is rotatably mounted. An independent claim is included for a gearbox with a recess.
