The system has a bracket body (29) comprising a strand duct (45), where strand-like functional elements i.e. electric cables (15), are fixed in the strand duct by clamping force. Cross-sections of clamping bodies e.g. steep three-side pyramid and steep cone, increase from a tapered front part to a rear region such that the functional elements are inserted by pushing the clamping bodies into cavities that are formed in the strand duct, where a wedge action is exerted against a wall of the strand duct. The clamping bodies are made of electrical non-conductive material i.e. plastic.
