The nuclear fusion reactor has a cylinder (3) that is provided with solid or compressed fusion fuel. Laser pulses (4) of less than 10 picoseconds are irradiated on one or both sides of the cylinder. A magnetic field (5) of 10 Tesla is applied symmetrical parallel to axis of the cylinder for specific period during nuclear fusion reaction. The fusion fuel is mixture of deuterium and tritium, or light hydrogen and boron isotope-11, or light hydrogen or lithium isotope-7. The cylinder is surrounded by cladding (6) having higher atomic weight than tungsten.
