The distributor (1) has a distribution container (10) for storing a liquid to be distributed (F). A bottom (100) of the distribution container comprises an outer side (100a) facing towards a unit i.e. tube bundle (2) of a heat exchanger. The liquid is distributed to the unit over multiple through holes (20). The through holes are assigned with a conduit tube (200) protruding from the outer side of the distribution container such that the liquid located in the distribution container is discharged through the conduit tube from the distributor. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a heat exchanger (2) a material exchange column.
