The system (10) has a cooling circuit provided for circulation of refrigerant. A compressor (12) e.g. electrically driven reciprocating piston compressor and axial piston compressor, includes a variable displacement. The compressor is provided with a hermetically or half-hermetically integrated electric motor, and a pivot disk or a pivot ring. The compressor compresses the refrigerant. The system is designed in a single-stage and a two-stage. The pivot disk or the pivot ring is operatively engaged with a piston of the compressor.
