The key (10) has an optical device for determination of mouse movements, which are provided for cooperation with a suitable surface, where the key is formed as a control element in a type of a computer mouse. A closing button (16) is loaded with close functions in a key mode, and an opening button (18) is provided with mouse button functions in an operating mode. A power source has rechargeable batteries charged by a power connection or an inductive system. The key is reversed between the key mode and the operating mode. An independent claim is also included for an infotainment system.
