Method for navigated dental implantology for determining spatial position and orientation of medical device and jaw joint trajectories, involves recording movements of jaws and securing radio frequency identification component on jaws
The method involves recording patient data for acquiring three-dimensional model jaw. The three-dimensional recording of movements of lower and upper jaws is performed, to acquire jaw joint trajectories. The RFID component (4) is secured directly on the upper and/or lower jaws of dentures (9) or on bite rail (10), so as to determine spatial position and/or orientation of medical device (1) and for determination of jaw joint trajectories of patient. The positional data of implants in the upper and/or lower jaw of patient and measured data of jaw joint trajectories are displayed. An independent claim is included for system for navigated dental implantology for determination of spatial position and/or orientation of medical device and for determination of jaw joint trajectories of patient.
