The engine has a lubricant supply device for supplying lubricant to a bearing point, a load (44) i.e. oil spray nozzle, and/or the engine. A soft lubricant channel (28) guides the lubricant in a supply direction to the bearing point and/or the load. A tubular locking element (42) is adjustable between a partially freezing releasing position and a closing position in the lubricant channel. The locking element fluidically blocks the lubricant channel and prevents an outflow of the lubricant from the lubricant channel in the supply direction, in the closing position.
