The connecting piece includes a modified surface structure in the portion, where an adhesive compound is provided between the hose and the connecting piece. The connecting piece is anodized or hard anodized in the portion, where an alumina-containing coating (14) is provided in the portion of the connecting piece. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing a hose connector for an internal combustion engine.
