The impeller (1) has a wheel hub (11) comprising a peripheral portion (112) connected with a forehead part (111) and extended in an axial direction. The peripheral portion and the forehead part form a receiving chamber (114). Recesses (116) are formed at an edge of the forehead part and located at a junction of the forehead part and the peripheral portion. A through hole (1161) is connected with the receiving chamber. Fixing elements (13) are formed in the receiving chamber and provided between rear sides of the recesses. A magnetic element is formed by magnet irons or permanent magnets. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an impeller of a ventilator.
