The arrangement has an optical feedback unit for positioning a microsensor. Tissue section preparations are simultaneously held, excited and measured in outer and inner chambers (3, 4). Microelectrodes e.g. tetrodes, are positioned for signal derivation and electrical stimulation by XYZ manipulators (1) and microelectrode manipulators. The microelectrodes are positioned by the feedback unit via video camera systems in an objective structure. System functions e.g. microelectrode positioning and aim point determination, are controlled for maintenance of vital parameters of tissue sections.
