The FET (10) has a strip active region (12) that is provided with gate, source and drain regions (16,18,20) which are interconnected by conductor tracks. Several source regions of strip active region are connected to form each group. The group traces are extended from source terminal box to source regions of the respective strip-active region. The group traces having different geometric cross-sectional dimensions are formed such that high resistance between the source terminal box and related group of source regions is ensured.
