The method involves providing circular elongation joints (2) at the underside of a tree slice (1) with depth of about 85 mm, and subsequently drying the tree slice so that the tree slice retains stability and strength, where the tree slice has diameter of about 1000 mm and thickness of about 100 mm. The elongation joints are completely filled with filler (3), which has a property of firmly connecting with the wood, and minimum stability after a curing process. A grinding process is performed on both sides of the tree slice after the curing process.
