The power line adapter has a base portion that is provided with distal ends adapted to a connection element of a power line. An inclination angle of tapered retainer is made smaller than that of an arc tangent by a surface roughness of retainer such that the static friction is provided between the retainer and connection element by specific absorption coefficient of retainer material. The base portion is made of non-ferrous metal. An independent claim is included for an electrical connection system.
