The method involves conducting the inversely phased sound of a sound source or a loudspeaker membrane from a chamber wall to another chamber wall in a channel or a pipe in a temporally delayed manner such that the inversely phased sound of the sound source is used for suppressing chamber resonances and for compensating the sound waves of the sound source. A woofer is mounted at an end of the pipe, and the pipe is brought in the chamber. The rear sound of the woofer is conducted in the pipe.
