The receiving device (1) has an outside housing (4) which is stationary receivable in the drill chuck and in the insertion recess (6) extending in the interior portion (5). The inner housing (8) is fixed and is inserted in the insertion recess of the outer housing. A tool insertion recess (10) is provided, in which the micro-drill bit (2) is inserted. The outer housing is partially formed as an elongated rotationally symmetrical hollow portion as a pipe whose cavity (12) partially forms the insertion recess. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) method for fastening micro-drill bit or micro-tool in chuck of machine tool; and (2) method for replacing micro-drill bit or micro-tool in receiving device.
