The rod assembly has horizontal solid wood slat layer (4) that is vertically glued to the horizontal solid wood slat layer (3) such that horizontal solid wood slat layers are glued together on one another. The horizontal solid wood slat layer (4) is arranged at an orientation angle with respect to horizontal solid wood slat layer (3) such that stable structure having low shrinkage and tear resistant is formed at outer sides (10,12) of rod assembly.
