The box (12) has a receiving space (14) for battery cells of a vehicle, where the battery cells are designed as drive energy storages. A right structure and a left structure are utilized for connecting control arms (16). The receiving space are enclosed or supported by an auxiliary frame running transverse to a travel direction. The auxiliary frame encloses the receiving space according to type of top and/or bottom flanges and/or provided with an integrated crash structure (26). The receiving space is extended over a rear rear-end (20) and a front rear-end of the vehicle. The auxiliary frame is designed as a circulating belt.
