The air outlet element (10) has an air guiding channel (12), over which air is guided to a passenger compartment of a motor vehicle, and in which an air guide device (14) is arranged with an air guiding element for deflecting the air from a flow path into another flow path. The air guide device has another air guiding element (24) for deflecting the air in direction of latter flow path. The latter air guiding element is moved with the former air guiding element relative to the air guiding channel. The latter air guiding element is arranged upstream of the former air guiding element.
