The valve has an armature (6) moved during generation of a magnetic field relative to a pole core (2). The pole core is projected into the armature. The pole core is formed at an end that is turned towards a sealing body (5), in a region (18) such that majority of magnetic flux between a side of the armature that is turned away from the sealing body and the pole core is conducted over an air gap (17) between the armature and the pole core. The armature is pulled to the pole core. The pole core comprises a constriction (7) at the end turned towards the sealing body.
