The lining (1) has two lining elements (3, 5) provided with a recess (7) and a projection (9), respectively, where the projection is inserted into the recess to connect the lining elements with each other. The lining elements are formed as front quarter shells or rear quarter shells. The lining elements cover an unequal, large sub-area of a curved lining. The recess is formed as a flap, and the projection comprises an arm i.e. spring arm, which extends along a direction of one of the lining elements (3).
