The unit (10) has a seat part (14), a backrest part (16) and an aeration device (24) that comprises a fan element (26) for sucking and discharging air. An intake air passage unit (30) guides the air. The air from an environment of a seat arrangement is sucked into an upper portion (40) of the backrest part by the fan element using a suction opening (38). Outflow openings (43, 44) discharge the sucked air out of the intake air passage unit to the environment in a lower region (46) of the seat unit.
