The device has molding tools (5', 6') i.e. profiled rollers, and a motor-driven control drive (7') e.g. pneumatic drive, fixedly arranged in a frame (4') of a bending tool (3) e.g. freeform-bending tool. One of the molding tools (6') is displaced relative to the other molding tool (5') in motor-driven manner around a small measurement by the drive so that the former molding tool is engaged at a profile, which is provided in the bending tool. The bending tool is arranged in an advancing direction of the profile in series behind an advancing tool.
