The method involves forming a fiber reinforced semi-finished product (10) in an internal high-pressure forming tool by applying a high internal pressure by using a forming tube (12), where the fiber-composite semi-finished product is formed by a local compression bending before the internal high pressure forming using the forming tube. The fiber-composite semi-finished product is heated together with the forming tube in a region before the press bending, particularly by using an infrared radiator. The press bending and the internal high pressure forming are performed in the same tool.
